dc.description	This article intends to answer whether or not it is possible to determine a cause-effect relationship between the previous behavior of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and the performance of the Farc Party in the local elections of 2019. This work applies a qualitative methodology based on documental review, a triangulation with secondary sources and spatial analysis of electoral and armed conflict variables using the software ArcGis. This research finds that the languid electoral performance of the party created from the Peace Accords of 2016 is related with the fact that the choice of the municipalities where this political group presented candidates was not strategic. In fact, as part of the findings it is revealed that two thirds of these municipalities correspond to scenarios with the highest levels of intensity of the armed conflict and the lowest level of participation of the Farc party in the competition for mayors and councils.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo busca responder a la pregunta de si es posible establecer una relación de causa y efecto entre la conducta previa de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia y el desempeño del Partido Farc en las elecciones locales de 2019. El trabajo aplica una metodología cualitativa basada en soporte documental, una triangulación con fuentes secundarias y análisis espacial de variables electorales y del conflicto mediante el software ArcGis. Esta investigación encuentra que el lánguido desempeño electoral del partido surgido del Acuerdo de Paz de 2016 se relaciona con el hecho de que la escogencia de los municipios donde este grupo político presentó candidatos no fue estratégica. De hecho, como parte de los hallazgos se revela que dos terceras partes de estos municipios corresponden a escenarios que registraron los niveles más elevados de intensidad del conflicto armado y la más baja participación del partido Farc en la competencia por alcaldías y concejos.	es-ES
