| dc.description | In Colombia, historically, the Organized Armed Groups have influenced the electoral elections and Magdalena Medio region municipalities have been seriously affected by the violence carried out by these groups. In this sense, this research analyzed the participation percentage in local and national elections in 2006-2019 period. A comparison was established between the political parties that had the highest vote in the Magdalena Medio region with that of the national level with the aim of identifying similarities or differences between the electoral behavior. | en-US |
