dc.description	This article presents a case study of changes in institutional arrangements and compliance violations in the municipality of Buritica after the increase in mining production in 2009 and the intervention of government control in 2013. The text aims at provididing recommendations on key inputs for the design of public interventions in similar contexts, with the understanding that in social contexts ruled by delicate balances –such as mining áreas– state action through their policies can aggravate a public problem if there is not a fully understanding of the institutional arrangements that work in that territory.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo presenta un estudio de caso de los cambios en los arreglos institucionales y el incumplimiento de normas en el municipio de Buriticá, luego del aumento de la producción minera en 2009 y la intervención de control del Gobierno en 2013. El texto pretende, de igual manera, proveer recomendaciones en clave de insumos para el diseño de intervenciones públicas en contextos similares, bajo el entendido de que en contextos sociales regidos por delicados equilibrios –como las zonas mineras–, la acción del Estado por medio de sus políticas puede agravar un problema público si no entiende completamente los arreglos institucionales que funcionan en ese territorio.	es-ES
