| dc.description | This article has three components: firstly, itanalyzes the conditions that have been established in order for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (brics) to be considered the “BRICKS” of the international system in a multipolar context. Secondly, the article examines the conditions that are prevalent in order to allow a post development discourse. Lastly, the previous iscussion will be an impetus to analyze the existing conditions regarding the environment and wealth distribution within these emerging markets. Most studies of the brics are based on aspects related to economic growth, but leave out important analyses of population flows and ecosystems. In this article such discussions are key to understanding what role the BRICS play within the international system. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo hace un acercamiento a las condiciones que se han establecido para que Brasil, Rusia, India, China y Sudáfrica sean considerados los “ladrillos” (BRICS) del sistema internacional en un escenario multipolar. Así mismo, se analizan las condiciones que permiten establecer la existencia de un discurso sobre el posdesarrollo para de allí extraer, por último, un análisis de las condiciones medioambientales y de distribución de la riqueza que existen en estas potencias emergentes. Es posible considerar que la categoría BRICS se basa únicamente en aspectos relacionados con el crecimiento económico pero deja de lado, como es tradicional en la mayoría de los análisis, condiciones concretas para la población y los ecosistemas, las cuales sirven de eje articulador de las relaciones en el sistema internacional. | es-ES |
