dc.descriptionHumanism has been one foundational piece in the construction and development of modern social sciences. However, different historical events and theoretical movements, such as Actor-Network Theory and current, fast deployment of technological cultures and forms of life have prompted a view of human society as also resting on the active participation of non-human agents.Abrief presentation of this radical shift is here followed by an introduction of the more general features of these new post-humanisms. We understand that they are nor structuralist or hermeneutic and that, with them, human beings are not denied but seen from another, more complex and less selfish, perspective. Finally, we face some of the critiques advanced against this posthumanist perspective.en-US
dc.descriptionEl humanismo ha sido una pieza fundacional en la construcción y el desarrollo de las ciencias sociales modernas. Sin embargo, una serie de acontecimientos históricos y de movimientos teoréticos, tales como la teoría del Actor-Red o el actual desarrollo de culturas y formas de vidas tecnológicas, han impulsado una visión de la sociedad humana como dependiendo también de actores no-humanos. Tras hacer una breve presentación de esta transformación radical en nuestra mirada, se introducen los principales rasgos de este nuevo posthumanismo, que es diferente del estructuralista y del hermenéutico. Se muestra así que no es que se niegue al ser humano sino que pasa a considerársele desde otra perspectiva más compleja y menos ensimismada. Finalmente se consideran algunas de las críticas que se han planteado a esta perspectiva.es-ES
