| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to highlight the tensions in the historical discourses of writers such as Cicero, Salustio and Livy, in what refers to the social gender roles that delimited the position of women in public space. An area that the Roman ideology defined as an exclusively male domain, but that in practice included a set of collective actions carried out by women who produced a transgression of the discursive marks that conditioned them. This implies proposing an interpretive nuance with respect to the generic differentiation of spaces and incumbencies, enunciated by classical authors in terms of binary oppositions. In this sense, we will argue that the reaffirmation of traditional cultural patterns in the crisis of the republic allows us to see interstices in which alterations take place that question the model of representation of the relations between genders as a significant form of power. | en-US |
| dc.description | El propósito de este trabajo es destacar las tensiones existentes en los discursos históricos de escritores como Cicerón, Salustio y Tito Livio, en lo que refiere a los roles sociales de género que delimitaban la posición de las mujeres en el espacio público. Un ámbito que la ideología romana definió como un dominio exclusivamente masculino, pero que en la práctica incluía un conjunto de acciones colectivas protagonizadas por mujeres que producían una trasgresión de las marcas discursivas que las condicionaban. Ello implica proponer un matiz interpretativo a la diferenciación genérica de espacios e incumbencias, enunciada por los autores clásicos en términos de oposiciones binarias. En este sentido, sostendremos que la reafirmación de los patrones culturales tradicionales en la crisis de la república permite vislumbrar intersticios en los cuales se producen alteraciones que cuestionan el modelo de representación de las relaciones entre los géneros como forma significante de poder. | es-ES |
