| Descripción : | This article presents an analysis of some of the political and social struggles in the Greater Middle East region in the last twenty years, passing through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the centrality of the Palestinian Question and U.S. foreign policy toward the region, which favored the creation of terrorist groups and impeded any victory of an authentic revolutionary movement during the so-called “Arab Spring.” Este artigo apresenta uma análise sobre algumas das lutas políticas e sociais na região do Grande Oriente Médio nos últimos vinte anos, passando por guerras como as do Iraque e Afeganistão, a centralidade da Questão Palestina e a política externa dos EUA para a região, que favoreceu a criação de grupos terroristas e impediu qualquer vitória de um autêntico movimento revolucionário durante a chamada “Primavera Árabe”. |
