| Descripción : | This article aims to discover which science-fiction books written in France were translated in Brazil throughout the 20th century and, from that, to present a historical overview of French literary production. The research consists of a bibliographic survey, as broad as possible, carried out on several websites (especially Skoob, Estante Virtual and Noosfere). It has been noticed that there were two moments in the translation of such works in Brazil: one in the 30s and another, much more lasting and productive, between the 60s and 80s with several important gaps left. Translations can also be divided into those that were part of larger series and those that were published on their own. This article demonstrates that French science fiction is an open field of study in Brazil. Este artigo objetivou descobrir quais livros do gênero ficção-científica escritos na França foram traduzidos no Brasil ao longo do século XX e a partir disso apresentar um panorama histórico da produção literária francesa. A pesquisa consistiu basicamente em um levantamento bibliográfico, o mais amplo possível, feito em diversas páginas na internet (em especial Skoob, Estante Virtual e Noosfere). Percebeu-se que houve dois momentos na tradução de tais obras no Brasil: um nos anos 30 e outro, bem mais duradouro e produtivo, entre as décadas de 60 e 80 com diversas e importantes lacunas deixadas. As traduções também podem ser divididas entre as que formaram grandes coleções ou as que saíram de maneira isolada. O artigo demonstra que a ficçãocientífica francesa é um campo de estudo em aberto no Brasil. |
