| Descripción : | This study highlights the dialogue that Elena Ferrante’s writing establishes with that of Elsa Morante, whether in novels or essays. For this, it proposes a comparative analysis that identifies common literary values and thoughts expressed in their essayistic texts and how they appear in his novels. It focuses on the analysis of metaliterary discussion, which prevails in the essays, and on the self-reflexivity that is evident in the tetralogy novels The brilliant friend, by Ferrante, and House of liars, by Morante. As the main corpus of this analysis, among the works of Morante, the essays “On the novel” and “Pro o contro la bomba atomica” were chosen, gathered in the book Pro o contro la bomba atomica, and the novels House of liars and The History; and, by Ferrante, Frantumaglia’s essays and the napolitan serie The brilliant friend. Este trabalho evidencia o diálogo que a escrita de Elena Ferrante estabelece com a de Elsa Morante, seja nos romances, seja nos textos ensaísticos. Para isso, propõe uma análise comparativa que identifica valores e pensamentos literários comuns expressos em seus textos ensaísticos, a fim de entender de que modo eles se afiguram em seus romances. Como recorte, centraliza-se na análise da discussão metaliterária, que prevalece nos ensaios, e na autorreflexividade, que se evidencia nos romances da tetralogia A amiga genial, de Ferrante, e Menzogna e sortilegio, de Morante. Como corpus principal desta análise, foram escolhidos, dentre as obras de Morante, os ensaios “Sobre o romance” e “Pró e contra a bomba atômica”, reunidos no livro Pró ou contra a bomba atômica, e os romances Menzogna e sortilegio e La Storia; e, de Ferrante, os textos ensaísticos de Frantumaglia e a série napolitana A amiga genial. |
