dc.descriptionOn 2015, Brazil and Chile executed the Cooperation and Investment Facilitation Agreement (“CIFA”) and the United Nations presented the Sustainable Development Goals (“SDG”), which is a real plan of action for the sustainable development. Acknowledging the relevance of the private investment for the promotion of the sustainable development, this article aims to analyze the CIFA in light of the ODS, in order to investigate whether the CIFA may contribute to achieve them. In the end, we will conclude that the CIFA, which translates the Brazilian proposal for the new generation of international investment agreements, may indeed contribute to their achievement.en-US
dc.descriptionEm 2015, Brasil e Chile celebraram o Acordo de Cooperação e Facilitação de Investimentos e as Nações Unidas apresentaram os Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável, verdadeiro plano de ação para o desenvolvimento sustentável. Sabendo-se da relevância do investimento privado para a promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável, este artigo tem como objeto a análise do ACFI à luz dos ODS, para verificar se o instrumento contribui para alcançá-los. Ao final, concluir-se-á que o ACFI, o qual traduz a proposta brasileira para a nova geração de acordos internacionais de investimento, pode auxiliar na promoção dos ODS.pt-BR
