| Descripción : | The objective of this paper is to establish a relation between the discursive mechanisms of the social utopia and processes of migration and memory in revolutionary Cuba. In order to address this question we focus on some characteristics of the utopian-political discourse in power as well as the relation between utopian discourse and subjects, especially related to questions of migration and memory. This discussion will be further extended to readings of various works of fiction, mainly novels and films. The guiding hypothesis of this study will be that subjects who distance themselves from official utopian discourse will be pushed away from the “good place”, as postulated by this discourse, towards a “non-place”, its only other option left. El objetivo de este trabajo es establecer una relación entre los mecanismos discursivos de la utopía social, la migración y los procesos de memoria en la Cuba revolucionaria. Para ello se propone una discusión de algunas características del discurso político-utópico instalado en el poder, así como la relación entre discurso utópico y sujeto, con particular atención en los temas de migración y memoria. Esta discusión se ampliará con la lectura de varias obras de ficción, tanto novelas como películas. La hipótesis principal será que el sujeto interpelado fuertemente por el discurso utópico-revolucionario, al alejarse del mismo se ve empujado desde el “buen lugar”, el que postula el discurso, hacia el “no-lugar”, la opción que le queda al sujeto diferente. |
