| Descripción : | The following paper discusses the travel writing of three Chilean female authors, Amalia Errázuriz, Inés Echeverría (Iris) and Rita Salas (Violeta Quevedo), the specificity of their work and their representational strategies, given the religious sign under which they undertook their pilgrimages to important religious centers in the Middle East and Europe. They construct a voice within a patriarchal framework marked by a silence imposed on women. We shall review the strategies by which they shape their authorship and seek to socially legitimate the transgressions of their writing. El siguiente artículo aborda la escritura de viaje de tres autoras chilenas: Amalia Errázuriz, Inés Echeverría (Iris) y Rita Salas (Violeta Quevedo), buscando plantear la especificidad de su trabajo y sus estrategias representacionales, a partir del signo religioso bajo el cual peregrinan a importantes centros religiosos de Medio Oriente y Europa. Ellas construyen una voz en medio de un escenario patriarcal marcado por el silencio impuesto a la mujer. Revisaremos las estrategias a través de las cuales configuran su autoría y buscan legitimar socialmente las transgresiones de su escritura. |
