| Descripción : | La política agropecuaria colombiana da cuenta de que la concentración de la tierra (por el dominio de un cultivo en el uso de la tierra) y la gran propiedad (por vía jurídica) son funcionales a un modelo de desarrollo económico, basados en parámetros de eficiencia, competitividad y productividad. Colombian agrarian policy shows that the land concentration (because of the abundance of a unique type of farming) and the large property (through legal channels) are functional to an economic development model based on factors of efficiency, competitiveness, and productivity. A manifestation of this problem are the oil palm crops, top product of the country after the petroleum, which has been characterized for take up a large are of the territory, becoming a monoculture with a negative impact for the environment, farming practice which is held thanks to an official speech that says that those who help the economy to grow are the agroindustrial megaprojects.
