| Descripción : | Mi investigación hace evidente una relación entre el barroco y el subgénero cinematográfico del falso documental. La película colombiana Agarrando Pueblo (1978) de Luis Ospina y Carlos Mayolo es leída a través de la pregunta sobre el grado de verdad que ofrece la imagen cinematográfica y la necesidad de desengañar la mirada de dichas representaciones. Esta inquietud por la verdad que construye la mirada y la imagen del mundo es leída también en algunos textos que pertenecen al fenómeno del barroco histórico, como la novela satírica Los anteojos de mejor vista (1620-25) de Fernando Rodríguez de Rivera.De esta manera, propongo el retorno de un ethos barroco a través del falso documental donde dicho ethos disputa el orden y el poder de la imagen, ofreciendo una visualidad que disputa las lógicas y procesos de la modernidad. My research has a relationship between the baroque and the cinematographic subgenre of the false documentary. The Colombian film Agarrando Pueblo (1978) by Luis Ospina and Carlos Mayolo is read through the question about the degree of truth offered by the cinematographic image and the need to design the image of these representations. This concern for the truth that builds the look and the image of the world is also read in some texts that belong to the phenomenon of the historical baroque, such as the satirical novel Los antojos de mejor vista (1620-25) by Fernando Rodríguez de Rivera.
