| Descripción : | Ante la propagación del VIH/sida en los años ochenta, en plena dictadura chilena, el escritor y performer Pedro Lemebel traviste la enfermedad en maternidad. Este trabajo se propone explorar gestaciones parasitarias, apariciones de vírgenes eróticas, anos que dan a luz, partos monstruosos, matronas anfibias y descendencias bastardas: momentos en que el cuerpo seropositivo transita hacia otras posibilidades vitales que resisten y subvierten las políticas más traumáticas de la enfermedad. Este es un análisis de lenguajes travestis y acciones performativas en donde Lemebel “alumbra” –da a luz– y rediagnostica el cuerpo agujereado del sida. During the spread of HIV/AIDS in the eighties, during the Chilean dictatorship, the writer and performer Pedro Lemebel queers –transforms– the disease in maternity. The purpose of this paper is to explore parasitic gestations, appearances of erotic virgins, anuses that give birth, monstrous births, amphibian matronas and bastard offspring: moments in which the seropositive body transits towards other vital possibilities that resist and subvert the most traumatic politics of disease. This is an analysis of queer languages and performative actions in which Lemebel lights up –gives birth– and rediagnoses the wounded body of AIDS. Profesional en Estudios Literarios Pregrado |
