| Descripción : | Este trabajo tiene como propósito tratar de aproximarse a la imagen que fue surgiendo de los paramilitares a partir del proceso de negociación de Santa Fe de Ralito que se dio entre el gobierno de Álvaro Uribe Vélez y los paramilitares, y que estuvo seguido de la expedición de la Ley 975 de 2005 o Ley de Justicia y Paz, y busca tratar de dilucidar cuál ha sido la imagen o imágenes que se han construido de estos grupos a partir de la implementación de la LJP en el proceso judicial. El trabajo se divide en tres capítulos. En el primero se verá cómo la pugna por la definición de los contornos y los límites del delito político fue decisiva en la caracterización y la construcción de la imagen de estos grupos. En el segundo capítulo se verá cuál fue el proceso que precedió la expedición de la Ley de Justicia y Paz, los debates que antecedieron su expedición y los diversos proyectos de ley que fueron presentados por el gobierno de Uribe Vélez y por otros partidos políticos que se opusieron frontalmente a la iniciativa de éste. El tercer capítulo es una aproximación a la imagen que se ha construido de los paramilitares desde la escena judicial. This paper has as its purpose try to approximate to the image that began to arise about the paramilitars, as a result the process of negotiation of Santa Fe de Ralito that took place between the government of Álvaro Uribe Vélez and the paramilitars, and that was followed by the expedition of Justice and Peace Law. It also try to elucidate which has been the image or images that have been built about this groups after the implementation of the Law during the judicial process. The paper has three chapters. The first describes how the fight for the definition of political crime was deciding during the construction of image of these groups. In the second chapter we will see the process that went before the Justices and Peace Law, the debates that preceded its promulgation and the different law projects that were presented by Uribe Vélez s Government.
