Descripción :	In this interview with the journal "Esprit", Roger Chartier speaks about various "disputed questions" in the field of history: these include the crisis of historical knowledgre through the redefinition of the statute of the social subject, and the narrative character of historical discourse; the results of hist research on the modern transformation of the relations between the public and the private concerning the uses of reading; the revolution in the movements of historical casualty and, finally, concerning the utility of the new definition of "representation". En esta entrevista realizada por la Revista Esprit, Roger Chartier se pronuncia sobre varias «cuestiones disputadas» en el campo de la historia: La crisis del saber hsitórico a partir de la redefinici{on del estatuto del sujeto social, y del carácter narrativo del discurso histórico; los resultados de sus investigaciones sobre la trasnformación moderna de las relaciones entre lo público y lo privado alrededor delos usos de la lectura; la revolución en las mociones de causalidad histórica y finalmente, sobre la utilidad de una nueva noción: la de «representación».
