Descripción :	Las actividades antrópicas como las ciudades han eliminado y desplazado la cubierta vegetal por materiales de construcción. Esto ha ocasionado varios problemas en las ciudades, como inundaciones, pérdida de biodiversidad, contaminación, aumento de temperatura (efecto "isla de calor") entre otros. Por tal motivo en este estudio se plantea que el techo verde puede disminuir los efectos de estos problemas, especialmente la disminución de temperatura en los hogares. A partir de esto, se describió diferentes tipos y clasificaciones de los techos verdes, los beneficios y desventajas de los techos verdes y por último se montó un modelo de techo verde de tipo indirecto con guadua en un área de 8 m2 en Honda, Tolima. Principalmente para disminuir la temperatura interior de la casa. Para esto, se midió la temperatura ambiente al interior con techo verde, sin techo verde y en el exterior además se midió la temperatura superficial del tejado al interior de la casa con y sin techo verde, para así comparar las diferencias de temperaturas en los tres escenarios y establecer si el techo verde pude disminuir la temperatura al interior de un hogar. Se obtuvo que una opción viable para una casa de fibrocemento de tierra caliente es el techo verde de tipo indirecto con guadua y esta puede disminuir la temperatura ambiente en el interior en 0,52°C a 0,94°C y la temperatura superficial de la teja en 5,82 a 12,29°C al interior de un hogar en tierra caliente, pero su grado de atenuación dependen del área del techo verde, de los materiales que se usen, del espesor del sustrato y del riego. Some anthropic activities; Iike building of cities, have eliminated and displaced the natural covering for construction materials; which has generated several problems in them, like flooding, biodiversity loss, contamination, temperature rising (Heat isle effect) , among others. For that reason in this study it's suggested that the "green roofing" can lower the effect of these problems; specially lowering home temperature. Starting from this, different types and classifications of "green roofing" were described, the benefits and disadvantages of them, and last a model of Indirect Green Roofing; using Guadua, was mounted, in an 8 m2 area in Honda, Tolima mainly for lowering the inner temperature of the house. For this purpose exterior temperature was taken; together with measurements of room temperature with and without the "green roofing", additionally, the roofing surface temperature was also taken and data was analyzed in order to establish whether the use of "green roofing" can lower the room temperature. The results were that a viable option for a hot weather house was the Indirect Green Roofing made with Guadua, and that this can lower the room temperature by 0.52 to O.94°C and the superficial roofing temperature of the tile in 5.82 to 12.29°C in the inside of a home in hot weather, but ifs degree of attenuation depends on the roof area, materials used, thickness of the substrate and the watering.
