dc.descriptionUna de las dificultades que se presenta en la Web actual, es la definición de búsquedas que carácter sintáctico las cuales en su ejecución arrojan resultados no deseados por el usuario, desviando de esta manera los objetivos de obtención de la información a indagar. Este trabajo se enfoca hacia una investigación aplicada sobre la Web Semántica y el desarrollo de Portales Semánticos, por medio de los cuales se da a conocer una posible solución a la problemática actual. Esta investigación es aplicada en el desarrollo de un Portal Semántico para el Laboratorio de Computo Especializado (LCE) perteneciente a la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga UNAB. En su primera etapa se caracterizan los elementos involucrados en el desarrollo de Portales Semántico, los cuales pueden ser consolidados como material de consulta para el desarrollo de Portales Semánticos en un campo de acción diferente. Seguido, se inicia a definir una estructura Semántica para el caso de uso (LCE), el cual nos permite dar el siguiente paso en la definición de las reglas que permitan inferir el conocimiento de los datos estructurados anteriormente y a su vez permita dar un paso formal hacia la definición de dicha estructura mediante la creación de la ontología en el lenguaje OWL mediante la herramienta Protégé. Una segunda etapa, en la cual se inicia con el proceso de desarrollo del Portal Semántico, donde se involucran los conceptos descritos en la primera etapa, reflejados en la aplicación de las metodologías Methontology y Object Oriented Web Solution OOWS respectivamente.-

dc.descriptionOne of the difficulties that occurs in the current Web is the definition of searches that are syntactic in nature, which in their execution yield unwanted results by the user, thus deviating the objectives of obtaining the information to be investigated. This work focuses on an applied research on the Semantic Web and the development of Semantic Portals, through which a possible solution to the current problem is revealed. This research is applied in the development of a Semantic Portal for the Specialized Computing Laboratory (LCE) belonging to the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga UNAB. In its first stage, the elements involved in the development of Semantic Portals are characterized, which can be consolidated as reference material for the development of Semantic Portals in a different field of action. Next, it begins to define a Semantic structure for the use case (LCE), which allows us to take the next step in defining the rules that allow inferring the knowledge of the previously structured data and in turn allow a formal step towards the definition of said structure by creating the ontology in the OWL language using the Protégé tool. A second stage, in which the Semantic Portal development process begins, where the concepts described in the first stage are involved, reflected in the application of the Methontology and Object Oriented Web Solution OOWS methodologies respectively.-
