dc.descriptionThe article presents some theoretical elements that can be useful to study the processes of formation of the State field and the role of the civil wars in these processes. In the text four matters are outlined: 1) The impossibility to study the State under the presupposition of the existing separation between State and society; 2) The importance of examining the process of formation of the State field from a historical and cultural perspective that includes, among other things, the reflection on the fights, silences, agreements, consensuses and resistances of the different actors who intervene in this field; 3) the value of addressing the State from the local and regional perspectives; and 4) its multiple tensions, conflicts and violence.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo presenta algunos elementos teóricos que pueden resultar útiles para estudiar los procesos de formación del campo estatal y el papel de las guerras civiles en dichos procesos. En el texto se destacan cuatro asuntos: 1) la imposibilidad de estudiar el Estado bajo el presupuesto de la separación entre este y la sociedad; 2) la importancia de examinar el proceso de formación del campo estatal a partir de una perspectiva histórica y cultural que incluya, entre otras cosas, la reflexión sobre las luchas, silencios, acuerdos, consensos y resistencias de los diferentes actores que intervienen en ese campo; 3) el valor de abordar el campo estatal en la esfera local y regional; y 4) sus múltiples tensiones, conflictos y violencias.es-ES
