Descripción :	La información de negocio, los movimientos financieros y los estados de cuentas son de gran utilidad para las diferentes entidades que interactúan en el país; por esto nace la preocupación de cómo administrar y transportar dicha información. Para el caso del sector público colombiano esta información es almacenada en diferentes formatos propietarios que deben ser presentados a entes reguladores que poseen formatos propios. Esto hace que el intercambio de un reporte implique un proceso tedioso y dificulta la óptima utilización de la misma, así como el procesamiento y análisis por parte de diferentes personas o instituciones interesadas en ella. XBRL se muestra como una alternativa importante para la solución a esta problemática ya que estandariza el intercambio de la información, lo cual automatiza y simplifica considerablemente el tratamiento de los datos. Además agiliza los procesos reduciendo costos de mantenimiento, conservando la integridad de la información y analizando la información financiera independientemente de los sistemas de información, sistemas operativos y validadores que se han desarrollado durante la última década. Debido a que la normativa que rige la presentación de reportes financieros en Colombia cambia constantemente, se vio la necesidad de realizar un proceso de reingeniería a la taxonomía elaborada en la FIS de la UNAB, integrando la utilización de Servicios Web como alternativa para el mejoramiento de estos prototipos, la consulta y procesamiento de la información y para la generación de informes; de esta forma adaptarla a las condiciones actuales y así seguir utilizando XBRL como alternativa viable a la solución. In the case of the Colombian public sector, this information is stored in different proprietary formats that must be presented to regulatory entities that have their own formats. This makes exchanging a report a tedious process and hinders its optimal use, as well as the processing and analysis by different people or institutions interested in it. XBRL is shown as an important alternative for the solution to this problem since it standardizes the exchange of information, which automates and considerably simplifies the treatment of data. It also streamlines processes by reducing maintenance costs, preserving the integrity of information, and analyzing financial information independently of the information systems, operating systems, and validators that have been developed over the past decade. Because the regulations that govern financial reporting in Colombia are constantly changing, the need was seen to carry out a reengineering process to the taxonomy elaborated in the UNAB FIS, integrating the use of Web Services as an alternative for the improvement of these prototypes, the consultation and processing of information and for the generation of reports; in this way, adapt it to current conditions and thus continue using XBRL as a viable alternative to the solution.
