dc.descriptionThis article wants to give an answer to an interpretation of the Benjamin ́s Philosophy by Eagleton.  Especifically, it focus on the last chapter of his book titled “Walter Benjamin o hacia una crítica revolucionaria”. These invectives against the Benjamin ́s historical materialism shows the reactionary character of a marxist man that, although is ambiguos on his apreciations about the posibility of overpass the clasic marxism or, just like he name it, ilustrated, doesn ́t find big revolutionary alternatives in the critics of a capitalist culture that have made of the modern man someone uncapable of comunicate his experiences.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo pretende responder a una interpretación de la filosofía de Benjamin por parte de Eagleton. Específicamente, se concentra en el último capítulo de su libro titulado “Walter Benjamin o hacia una crítica revolucionaria”. Las invectivas contra el materialismo histórico benjaminiano muestran el carácter reaccionario de un marxista que, aunque es ambiguo en sus apreciaciones acerca de la posibilidad de superar al marxismo clásico o, según dice, ilustrado, no encuentra mayores alternativas revolucionariasen la crítica de una cultura capitalista que, entre otras cosas, ha hecho del hombre moderno a alguien incapaz de comunicar su experiencia.es-ES
