dc.descriptionThis reflection article aims to associate psychosocial factors with the violation of rights in members of the LBGTI community in the city of Tunja. A theoretical review of the main concepts and their relationship was carried out, as well as a normative exploration at the national, departmental and local levels. It was concluded that the Boyacense capital, being a conservative city and mostly religious, does not perceive as acceptable that the sexual behavior of some people is not the same as that adopted by the majority of the population. Likewise, there are regulations that seek to guarantee the rights of this community, however, the legal principles are not effective at the time of compliance, this being another factor that puts their integrity and their physical and mental health at risk.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo de reflexión tiene como objetivo asociar los factores psicosociales a la vulneración de derechos en miembros de la comunidad LBGTI de la ciudad de Tunja. Se realizó una revisión teórica de los conceptos principales y su relación, así como una exploración normativa a nivel nacional, departamental y local. Se concluyó que la capital Boyacense, al ser una ciudad conservadora y en su mayoría religiosa, no percibe como aceptable que la conducta sexual de algunas personas no sea la misma que adopta la mayoría de la población. Asimismo, existe normatividad que busca garantizar derechos de esta comunidad; sin embargo, los principios legales no son efectivos al momento de su cumplimiento, siendo esto otro factor que pone en riesgo su integridad y su salud física y mental. es-ES
