dc.descriptionThe changes in the forms of war, since the end of the 20th century, show the necessity to establish a new theory that would allow to understand these new forms. This article seeks to collaborate with the process of reviewing and building knowledge of war from the field of sociology. For this, an exhaustive bibliographic review is conducted, which exposes new contributions that divert from the liberal production, which tends not to consider the war as a social phenomenon of important significance.en-US
dc.descriptionDesde finales del siglo xx, los cambios en las formas de la guerra dan cuenta de la necesidad de establecer nueva teoría para comprender estas nuevas formas. Este artículo busca colaborar con el proceso de revisión y construcción de conocimiento sobre la guerra desde el ámbito de la Sociología. Para ello, se toma como base una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica, con la cual se exponen nuevos aportes que se alejan de la producción liberal tendiente a no considerar la guerra como un fenómeno social de importante trascendencia.es-ES
