dc.descriptionColombia es un escenario de diversas manifestaciones culturales las cuales expresan su variedad étnica y religiosa, sus costumbres, tradiciones y formas de vida de sus habitantes. Una de estas manifestaciones es la poesía, que con historias contadas desde el mito, el humor, o con semblanzas reales o imaginarias, exponen con un sentir personal sucesos públicos, privados, o relatos del pasado de un pueblo. La relación entre música y literatura ha sido una de las más antiguas colaboraciones artísticas. Esta combinación inicialmente tenía un carácter litúrgico y sagrado, que a su vez permitía grabar en la memoria de los miembros de la comunidad los valores morales, las pautas y normas que organizaban la vida y la convivencia de los pueblos. Pese a esta estrecha relación inicial, la música y la literatura evolucionaron por caminos diferentes hasta llegar a establecerse de forma independiente y autónoma, cada una con sus propias características, géneros y autores. “El fervor y el amor por la poesía empezaron a disminuir con el transcurso del tiempo, a medida que se fueron presentando diversas coyunturas e incidentes sociales, de la mano del fuerte desarrollo de los medios y formas de comunicación masivas, generando así, otras apetencias e inquietudes de tipo intelectual y cultural”. Por fortuna, y al igual que el cine o la televisión, la música es otra de las artes que en los últimos años ha vuelto sus ojos a la literatura para ofrecer versiones, adaptaciones incluso traducciones de textos literarios.-

dc.descriptionColombia is a scene of diverse cultural manifestations which express its ethnic and religious variety, its customs, traditions and ways of life of its inhabitants. One of these manifestations is poetry, which with stories told from myth, humor, or with real or imaginary semblances, expose with a personal feeling public and private events, or stories from the past of a people. The relationship between music and literature has been one of the oldest artistic collaborations. This combination initially had a liturgical and sacred character, which in turn allowed the moral values, guidelines and norms that organized the life and coexistence of the peoples to be recorded in the memory of the community members. Despite this close initial relationship, music and literature evolved along different paths until they established themselves independently and autonomously, each with its own characteristics, genres and authors. "The fervor and love for poetry began to diminish over time, as various social situations and incidents arose, hand in hand with the strong development of mass media and forms of communication, thus generating other desires and concerns of an intellectual and cultural nature ”. Fortunately, and like cinema or television, music is another of the arts that in recent years has turned its eyes to literature to offer versions, adaptations, even translations of literary texts.-
