Descripción :	Este trabajo presenta una serie de arreglos y composiciones para quinteto de saxofones en cuatro niveles de dificultad técnica, utilizando algunos géneros tradicionales colombianos y otros latinoamericanos de música popular. Para esto fue necesaria la realización de una serie de parámetros que están de acuerdo a las instrucciones existentes en la enseñanza de este instrumento en Colombia con una serie de características propias en cada nivel. Los géneros utilizados son: guabina, danza, pasillo, porro, bolero, chacarera y tango. Por medio de la investigación se estudia el origen, la forma, el esquema estilístico y las características particulares de cada uno. Se plantean 4 niveles de dificultad: inicial, básico, medio y avanzado. Estos niveles dependen principalmente de: el tiempo que dedique el estudiante a la práctica individual del instrumento, el desarrollo técnico e interpretativo y el trabajo con el grupo de cámara, en este caso el quinteto de saxofones. Cabe anotar que parte de la investigación arrojó que no existe gran cantidad de repertorio para éste formato en los primeros niveles de dificultad, por lo tanto, se han realizado una serie de obras donde estos predominan. For this, it was necessary to carry out a series of parameters that are in accordance with the existing instructions in the teaching of this instrument in Colombia with a series of own characteristics at each level. The genres used are: guabina, dance, aisle, porro, bolero, chacarera and tango. Through research, the origin, shape, stylistic scheme and particular characteristics of each one are studied. There are 4 levels of difficulty: initial, basic, medium and advanced. These levels depend mainly on: the time that the student dedicates to the individual practice of the instrument, the technical and interpretive development and the work with the chamber group, in this case the saxophone quintet. It should be noted that part of the research showed that there is not a large amount of repertoire for this format in the first levels of difficulty, therefore, a series of works have been made where these predominate.
