Descripción :	Este trabajo se refiere a una investigación realizada entre el primer semestre de 2017 y el primer semestre de 2018, en las instituciones educativas Jardín Infantil Kid´s Park y Newport School de Cañaveral del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga (Colombia). En estas instituciones se observaron, en los niños: dificultades en cuanto al seguimiento de normas e instrucciones; poco respeto hacia compañeros y docentes; y, también, la frecuencia de los denominados berrinches. Estas dificultades, de mantenerse, podrían dar lugar a personas con problemas para relacionarse adecuadamente con los otros, o, dicho en otros términos, malos ciudadanos. Este trabajo tuvo por objetivo fortalecer las competencias ciudadanas en niños y niñas preescolares, del grado transición, a partir de estrategias basadas en la disciplina positiva. Esta investigación se apoyó en las propuestas de Jane Nelsen, y la compilación de Enrique Chaux, Juanita Lleras y Ana Velásquez. La investigación integró el enfoque cualitativo, la investigación-acción y el enfoque sistémico. La técnica principalmente utilizada de recolección de datos fue la observación participante. El registró se hizo con base en instrumentos como el diario pedagógico y una rúbrica de observación adaptada a la guía número 6 del Ministerio de Educación Nacional de los comportamientos de los niños y niñas con relación a la formación de competencias ciudadanas en el eje convivencia y paz. La investigación se inició con una caracterización de los comportamientos de los niños y niñas bajo estudio con relación a la formación en competencias ciudadanas en el eje convivencia y paz. Seguidamente, se adaptaron estrategias pedagógicas basadas en la disciplina positiva. Luego se implementaron actividades pedagógicas teniendo en cuenta las estrategias didácticas adaptadas y, finalmente, se elaboró una herramienta multimedia con las estrategias y actividades pedagógicas más efectivas. Como resultados de este proyecto se obtuvieron: la caracterización mencionada; una propuesta compuesta por proyectos de aula en los que se concretan estrategias pedagógicas; y una herramienta multimedia con los proyectos, estrategias y actividades pedagógicas más efectivas. Como conclusión se obtuvo que la implementación de los proyectos de aula y las estrategias basadas en la disciplina positiva arrojaron resultados favorables al notar mejoras en los comportamientos de los niños y niñas. In these institutions, children were observed: difficulties in following rules and instructions; little respect towards classmates and teachers; and, also, the frequency of the so-called tantrums. These difficulties, if maintained, could give rise to people with problems to relate adequately with others, or, in other words, bad citizens. The objective of this work was to strengthen citizen competences in preschool children, of the transition degree, based on strategies based on positive discipline. This research was based on the proposals of Jane Nelsen, and the compilation of Enrique Chaux, Juanita Lleras and Ana Velásquez. The research integrated the qualitative approach, the action research and the systemic approach. The main technique used for data collection was participant observation. The registration was made based on instruments such as the pedagogical diary and an observation rubric adapted to the guide number 6 of the Ministry of National Education of the behavior of children in relation to the training of citizenship skills in the coexistence and peace axis The investigation began with a characterization of the behaviors of the children under study in relation to the training in citizen skills in the coexistence and peace axis. Then, pedagogical strategies based on positive discipline were adapted. Then pedagogical activities were implemented taking into account the adapted didactic strategies and, finally, a multimedia tool was developed with the most effective strategies and pedagogical activities As a result of this project we obtained: the aforementioned characterization; a proposal composed of classroom projects in which pedagogical strategies are specified; and a multimedia tool with the most effective projects, strategies and pedagogical activities. In conclusion, it was found that the implementation of classroom projects and strategies based on positive discipline yielded favorable results when noticing improvements in children's behavior. The most effective strategies were: "traveling notebook" "creating our mural" "working as a team" "we will investigate"
