Descripción :	En el presente proyecto se propone la integración de elementos propios de la música Salsa con elementos rítmicos e instrumentales de las músicas del Caribe y Pacífico colombiano aplicados a la batería, mediante arreglos y composiciones musicales. El repertorio a trabajar se basa en arreglos de tres temas de salsa de los años 70 y 80, época en la que se establecieron conceptos como formato instrumental y la funcionabilidad de hacer bailar al público. Se hará un arreglo de una obra tradicional del Caribe colombiano y una del Pacífico colombiano. Una adaptación de una pieza con ritmo de bolero. Y se realizarán dos composiciones que conservan la sonoridad tradicional y la identidad del bunde chocoano y del bullerengue ‘sentao’ del Caribe. Se utilizarán instrumentos como los cununos y el guasá, y en dos temas se incluirá la gaita hembra como instrumento melódico. Se adaptarán a la batería técnicas características de los tambores tradicionales: el bajo, el fondeo y el repique usados en el tambor ‘alegre’ típico de la región Caribe; así como golpes sobre la madera o el cuerpo del tambor y la combinación de baquetas para lograr las diferentes tímbricas (colores) de los bombos ‘arrullador’ y ‘golpeador’ propios de la música del litoral Pacífico. El resultado será un sonido colombiano basado en la clave afrocubana donde influirán técnicas compositivas, combinaciones tímbricas y diversos formatos instrumentales. ENLACES DE INTERNET 37 Pregrado This project proposes the integration of elements typical of Salsa music with rhythmic and instrumental elements of the Colombian Caribbean and Pacific music applied to drums, through musical arrangements and compositions. The repertoire to be worked on is based on arrangements of three salsa songs from the 70s and 80s, a time in which concepts such as an instrumental format and the functionality of making the public dance were established. An arrangement will be made of a traditional work from the Colombian Caribbean and one from the Colombian Pacific. An adaptation of a piece with a bolero rhythm. And there will be two compositions that preserve the traditional sound and the identity of the chocoano bunde and the bullerengue ‘sentao’ of the Caribbean. Instruments such as cununos and guasá will be used, and in two songs the female bagpipe will be included as a melodic instrument. Characteristic techniques of the traditional drums will be adapted to the drums: the bass, the anchor and the peal used in the 'Alegre' drum typical of the Caribbean region; as well as blows on the wood or the body of the drum and the combination of drumsticks to achieve the different timbre (colors) of the 'cooing' and 'rapper' drums typical of the music of the Pacific coast. The result will be a Colombian sound based on the Afro-Cuban key where compositional techniques, timbral combinations and various instrumental formats will influence.
