Descripción :	Este proyecto surge con el propósito de acercar la música cristiana-evangélica tradicional de Santander al estilo de la música gospel afroamericana y analizar cómo la guitarra se ha incluido en la instrumentación del estilo gospel, considerando que este es en esencia un estilo vocal. Se desarrollará un concierto de música gospel en el cual se interpretarán siete arreglos de música religiosa como himnos, coros tradicionales y canciones inéditas de las iglesias cristianas evangélicas de Santander y una adaptación del tema Amazing Grace, este último será una versión instrumental. Los temas para el concierto se han escogido con base en el Salmos 96. Los resultados sonoros de estos arreglos estarán marcados por la fusión del Gospel con otros géneros como la Balada Rock, Funk, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Bambuco, y el Porro. TABLA DE ILUSTRACIONES 6 1. DISCOGRAFÍA: 32 Pregrado This project arises with the purpose of bringing the traditional Christian-evangelical music of Santander closer to the Afro-American gospel music style and to analyze how the guitar has been included in the instrumentation of the gospel style, considering that this is essentially a vocal style. There will be a gospel music concert in which seven arrangements of religious music will be performed such as hymns, traditional choirs and unpublished songs from the evangelical Christian churches of Santander and an adaptation of the song Amazing Grace, the latter will be an instrumental version. The themes for the concert have been chosen based on Psalm 96. The sound results of these arrangements will be marked by the fusion of Gospel with other genres such as Rock Ballad, Funk, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Bambuco, and Porro.
