Descripción :	Throughout  these pages, we have tried to show the usefulness of gender in teaching the history and the visibility of new social actors, through an educational experience at the high school level. We have based our work on the rescue of women who made and still are making history for 200 years. Thus, taking advantage of the anniversary of our national Independence (2016), we put into practice a project that vindicates and makes  the role of women visible in order to break the androcentric stereotypes that exist about them. We consider that these educational practices contribute to a more comprehensive and diverse perspective on the historical process. Moreover, it challenges us in our own actions as teachers, such as questioning how social roles many times are structured in educational institutions. We observed that for the students it was a realization and a learning experience to discover a different image about women. On the other hand, while this is a project that has been running for a few years, we used as an important support the stimulating rules proposed by the I.S.E. (Integrated Sexual Education) with regard to the teaching of Social Sciences. Through this experience, we aimed to make possible more flexible and less totalizing attitudes by which diversity must be respected and accepted in its various forms (sexual, cultural, ethnic, etc.).  A lo largo de estas páginas, por medio de una experiencia educativa en el nivel secundario, intentamos mostrar la utilidad del género en la enseñanza de la historia y en la visibilización de nuevos actores sociales. Basándonos en el rescate de las mujeres que hicieron y hacen historia desde hace 200 años, aprovechamos el aniversario del bicentenario de nuestra independencia (2016) para implementar un proyecto que visibiliza y reivindica el rol de las mujeres con la finalidad de romper estereotipos androcéntricos que existen acerca de  ellas. Consideramos que este tipo de prácticas educativas aportan miradas más abarcativas y diversas sobre el devenir histórico. Además nos interpela en nuestro propio actuar como docentes, cuestionando cómo, mucha veces, se estructuran los roles sociales en las instituciones educativas. Para ellas/ ellos (los estudiantes), observamos que fue un aprendizaje el hecho de descubrir una imagen distinta sobre las mujeres. Por otro lado, si bien es un proyecto que lleva sus años, los preceptos estimulados por la ESI (Educación Sexual Integral) con respecto a la enseñanza de las Ciencias Sociales nos sirvieron de soporte. Tratamos de posibilitar, con esta experiencia, actitudes más flexibles y menos totalizantes donde se respete y se acepte la diversidad en sus diversas formas (sexual, cultural, étnica, etc.).
