dc.descriptionThis article will attempt to highlight the overdetermined nature of the sense of different links that provide residents of gated communities in Argentina with an open city. To this end, two instances are analyzed from which the establishment of the neoliberal hegemonic discourse is present in the process of legitimation of private developments. First, we show how the issue of external insecurity is experienced as a constant threat, not only at the time of leaving the private neighborhood but also in key question becomes how community life within the walls. And secondly, country clubs also legitimize as promoters of economic development of the environment, by generating direct employment and the recovery of consumption in the area where they settle.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se procurará poner en evidencia el carácter sobredeterminado del sentido de diferentes vinculaciones que establecen los residentes de las urbanizaciones cerradas en argentina con la ciudad abierta. A tal fin, se analizarán dos instancias a partir de las cuales la instauración hegemónica del discurso neoliberal se hace presente en el proceso de legitimación de las urbanizaciones privadas. En primer término, se mostrará cómo la cuestión de la inseguridad exterior es vivida como una amenaza constante, no sólo a la hora de salires-ES
