Descripción :	La investigación que se presenta a continuación tuvo como propósito principal Incentivar la participación de los padres de familia en el proceso formativo de los estudiantes de primaria de la Sede El Diamante del Instituto Técnico de Sabana de Torres “ITES”; bajo una metodología de investigación de corte cualitativo, se pudo determinar que los padres de familia tienen una limitada participación de los procesos académicos de sus hijos, permitiendo concluir que para mejorar este aspecto, es necesario principalmente generar una sinergia o articulación entre los padres de familia y la institución educativa, y así mismo, es necesario que la escuela realice ejercicios de sensibilización para concientizar a los padres de la importancia de su rol en la formación de los niños, para posteriormente brindarles la capacitación necesaria para que los padres se mantengan más presentes en los procesos formativos de sus hijos desde el hogar y por medio del establecimiento de canales de comunicación con la escuela. 1.
