Título : | LA “VOCACIÓN AFRICANA” DE MARRUECOS | NUEVOS VECTORES DE ACERCAMIENTO |
Editorial : | Centro de Estudios Avanzados |
Descripción : | Recently, Morocco seems to be rediscovering its African vocation inthe context of different events and strategies that have widened itsforeign actions. Following the complex relations established with Africa, especially during the rule of Hassan II, the country is testing newapproaches after Mohammed VI came to power. The African continent ranks among its most important foreign prioritiesthus giving way to a renewal of the relations with that area. Thischange is influenced by a number of factors of different nature. Eventssuch as the request for renewed support on the issue of the West Sahara, the pretension to return to the African Union scenario, the securityand immigration issue along with the expansion of the business activitiesand investments of Moroccan state-owned and private companiesrepresent the main variables that lead the agenda of the region. |
