| dc.description | The present article of epistemological reflection, and aesthetic politics maps menstrual visualities of diverse nature and origin to register the meanings (re)produced in the representations. From a queer/cuir and transfeminist position the article investigates and (dis)arms the constructions of the normal and natural associated with the menstrual cycle (de)composing its heteropatriarchal and modern-colonial binarisms. As a gesture of reXistence, it registers and recovers the power of the visuals of Effy Beth, Thoni the tampon and Raindovemodel as a necessary possibility to manage urgent policies in relation to Health access and education for all menstruating people. | en-US |
