Descripción :	La caricatura política es una herramienta lúdica de comunicación, diestra en hacer circular mensajes, por lo general, no subordinados al discurso de quienes detentan el poder o ejercen algún tipo de control estatal. De hecho, se trata de un recurso que incorpora información que rápidamente es capaz de sumarse a una conciencia común. Revela tensiones y juicios acerca de personajes, colectividades o acontecimientos, y a la postre, no solo advierte, sino que induce una mirada de la realidad. Su estudio, en este sentido, constituye una alternativa interesante de investigación, que privilegia la interpretación de signos en un tiempo y espacio determinados, para reconocer datos no siempre evidentes en otras fuentes de conocimiento. No obstante, suabordaje exige una comprensión amplia alrededor de su contexto y evolución. Este artículo, producto del proyecto titulado: “Imaginario político de las decisiones judiciales en torno a la reforma constitucional de 1991”, busca, precisamente, sistematizar los antecedentes y el estado del arte en la materia y evidenciar su valor artístico, informativo y científico. The political cartoon is a playful tool of communication, skilled at circulating messages, usually not subordinated to the discourse of those who hold power or exercise some type of state control. In fact, it is a resource that incorporates information that is quickly able to join a common consciousness. It reveals tensions and judgments about characters, collectivities or events, and ultimately, not only warns but also induces a view of reality. His study, in this sense, constitutes an interesting research alternative, which privileges the interpretation of signs in a determined time and space, to recognize data not always evident in other sources of knowledge. However, its approach requires a broad understanding around its context and evolution. This article, product of the project entitled: "Political Imaginary of Judicial Decisions on the Constitutional Reform of 1991", seeks, precisely, to systematize the antecedents and the state of art in the matter, and todemonstrate its artistic, informative and scientific value.
