dc.descriptionThe present work aims to evaluate the training of teachers for the teaching of scientific thinking in children of the fifth and sixth grade of primary education belonging to institutions in the municipalities of Cárdenas, San Cristóbal and Pedro María Ureña in the State of Táchira of Venezuela; For this, the construct on teacher training guided towards the teaching of scientific thought will be examined and the training that teachers have for teaching scientific thought will be identified. The research was framed within the quantitative paradigm from the factual sciences, with a descriptive level and a non-experimental field design, the survey technique was applied through a questionnaire to fifteen teachers with closed questions of simple selection, validated by experts. For the statistical analysis, the Microsoft Excel program was used, the results were interpreted and the respective conclusions were obtained, among which the fact that there is limited teacher training regarding the teaching of scientific thought from the classroom stands out, although there is considerable openness that may allow such training to develop.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo tiene como propósito evaluar la formación de los docentes para la enseñanza del pensamiento científico en niños del quinto y sexto grado de educación primaria pertenecientes a instituciones de los municipios Cárdenas, San Cristóbal y Pedro María Ureña en el Estado Táchira de Venezuela; para ello, se examinará el constructo sobre la formación docente guiada hacia la enseñanza del pensamiento científico y se identificará la formación que tienen los docentes para la enseñanza del pensamiento científico. La investigación se enmarcó dentro del paradigma cuantitativo desde las ciencias fácticas, con un nivel descriptivo y un diseño de campo no experimental, se aplicó la técnica de encuesta mediante un cuestionario a quince docentes con preguntas cerradas de selección simple, validadas por expertos. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa Microsoft Excel, se interpretaron los resultados y se obtuvieron las respectivas conclusiones, entre las cuales destaca el hecho que de que existe una limitada formación docente respecto a la enseñanza del pensamiento científico desde el aula de clase, aunque hay una considerable apertura que podrá permitir el que se desarrolle tal formación.es-ES
