Descripción :	For the first time in history, this article presents recordings of the extinct Mochica language as uttered by its last speaker, Simón Quesquén. It places these recordings in the context of previously unpublished or lost recordings of the same language. It also relates the circumstances in which Quesquén acquired his knowledge of Mochica pronunciation and provides further detail about the vocabulary of the Quesquén family published earlier. The conditions under which the recordings were made are explained prior to a presentation of their structure and content. Finally, it includes a linguistic analysis of a sample of the recorded words in a comparative approach using other related sources to arrive at preliminary conclusions about the contribution this new material makes to the discussion of the pronunciation of the Mochica language. El artículo presenta grabaciones hasta ahora inéditas del extinto idioma mochica por boca del último conocedor del idioma, Simón Quesquén. Para contextualizarlas, se indican los antecedentes de otras grabaciones del mismo idioma, todas perdidas o sin publicar. También se detallan las circunstancias en las cuales Quesquén adquirió sus conocimientos de la pronunciación del mochica, así como los antecedentes de las ya publicadas listas de vocabulario de la familia Quesquén. Pasando a las grabaciones en sí, se explican las condiciones bajo las cuales se realizaron, y se describen su estructura y contenido. Finalmente, se lleva a cabo un análisis lingüístico de una muestra de palabras de las grabaciones cotejándolas con otras fuentes relacionadas, a fin de arribar a conclusiones preliminares sobre el aporte del nuevo material a la discusión sobre la pronunciación del mochica.
