dc.descriptionThe ongoing dialogue about our researches in linguistics and social geography that we have carried out in Huaraz (Peru) is the starting point for the construction of an interdisciplinary methodology. Among others, each of us worked with Quechua-Spanish bilingual children in four communities in the rural area of Huaraz. This experience led us to discuss issues of power, nature, social and political structures as well as Peruvian history and education. Our intersection is the language. In this article we answer three questions about our goals, theories and research methods. This dialogue is the foundation of an interdisciplinary work. Putting together the two different perspectives of work constitutes an enrichment for both disciplines.en-US
dc.descriptionEl diálogo continuo sobre nuestras investigaciones en lingüística y geografíasocial que realizamos en Huaraz (Perú) es la base inicial en la construcción de una metodología interdisciplinaria. Cada una de nosotras trabajó, entre otros, con niños bilingües quechua-castellano en cuatro comunidades del área rural de Huaraz. Esta experiencia nos llevó a conversar sobre aspectos de poder, naturaleza, estructuras sociales y políticas así como sobre historia peruana y educación escolar. Nuestra intersección es la lengua. En el presente artículo contestamos a tres preguntas sobre nuestros objetivos, teorías y métodos de investigación. Este diálogo es la base fundamental de un trabajo interdisciplinario. Juntar las dos diferentes perspectivas de trabajo constituye un enriquecimiento para ambas disciplinas.es-ES
