dc.descriptionLa primera parte del ensayo está dedicada a las instituciones y prácticas creadas por el régimen colonial español y las particularidades de su implementación en la Amazonía peruana que estuvo a cargo de las órdenes jesuita y franciscana principalmente. Se aborda el tema de las misiones-reducciones, las expediciones de captura de indígenas y las rebeliones indígenas contra el régimen colonial. La segunda parte analiza la evolución de las instituciones y prácticas de origen colonial en la Amazonía peruana durante la época republicana, particularmente las misiones y la servidumbre en el marco de la economía extractiva que caracteriza la región. Finalmente se estudia el rol de las misiones modernas entre los indígenas amazónicos, las formas actuales de servidumbre y de expediciones de captura de indígenas tanto en el marco de la explotación de recursos naturales como en la guerra antisubversiva del Estado.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe first part of the essay deals with the institutions and practices created by the Spanish colonial regime and the special forms of implementation in the Peruvian Amazon by the Jesuit and Franciscan Orders. The subjects dealt with are the missions-reductions, the raids against Indians and the rebellions of Indians against the colonial regime. The second part analyzes the evolution of the institutions and practices of colonial origin in the Peruvian Amazon during the republican era, first of all the missions and the servitude in the framework of the extractive economy which is characteristic for the region. Finally the essay addresses the role of the modern missions, the present forms of servitude and raids against Indians in the framework of the exploitation of natural resources as well as the anti-terrorist war of the State.en-US
