dc.descriptionLos términos aztecas para la guerra encontraron sólo muy poca atención en los últimos años. Hace casi cien años el intento de Walter Lehmann de presentar un análisis detallado. Desde entonces o han quedado ignoradas varias explicaciones más antiguas o éstas se han adoptado siempre de nuevo de forma poco crítica. La siguiente contribución analítica intenta llegar, al contrario, a nuevos resultados, basándose en repetidas interpretaciones de las fuentes y en la discusión crítica de la literatura secundaria.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe terms used by the Aztecs to describe war have received little attention in recent years. The last detailed analysis was made by Walter Lehmann almost hundred years ago. The following contribution tries to provide, in another perspective, some new insights, avoiding the criticless adoptions as well as the ignoring of older explanations. This effort to achieve new results has been based on repeated interpretations of the sources and a critical discussion of the secondary literature.en-US
