Quince años del EZLN y la autonomía en Chiapas

Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo rastrea los antecedentes de la constitución de la autonomía en el sur de Chiapas que concluyen en las Juntas de Buen Gobierno. De este modo, relata la migración hacia allí de distintos indígenas de varias etnias, sin tierra y peones sobrantes, en pos de su supervivencia, su desempeño como trabajadores rurales, pequeños campesinos y comerciantes y su formación política por medio de su relación con la Diócesis de San Cristóbal de las Casas, inspirada en la Teología de la Liberación, que recibió aliento con el Concilio Vaticano II. De allí que la embestida capitalista neoliberal haya encontrado un freno que ya venía preparándose incluso desde antes de la excursión a la selva de quienes fundarían luego el EZLN. Para concluir, se refiere el derrotero zapatista que llevó a la implementación de la autonomía de hecho y a la forma que ésta adquiere luego de 15 años de la insurrección armada asentada en las comunidades Abstract: This article tracks the background of the setting up of the autonomy in the south of Chiapas which concludes in the Juntas de Buen Gobierno. Thus, it tells the story of migration from several indigenous coming from various ethnic group, landless and redundant laborers, in pursuit of their survival, their development as rural workers, small peasants and merchants and their political education through their relationship with Diocese of San Cristóbal de las Casas, inspired by the Theology of Liberation, which was encouraged by the Council Vatican II. That is why the neoliberal capitalist clash has found restraint which had been preparing even long before the excursion to the jungle of whom would later found the EZLN (N of T: Zapatist Army of National Liberation). Finally, there is reference to the Zapatist guidelines that led to the implementation of the autonomy in effect and to the shape it took 15 years after the armed insurrection settled in the communities
