Descripción :	Este trabajo propone un recorrido por el singular universo narrativo de Naty Menstrual, primera escritora autodefinida como travesti publicada en Argentina. En los cuentos de su primer libro, Continuadísimo (2008), la autora presenta un mundo que invierte las reglas y losvalores —sociales, culturales, sexuales— tradicionales. La reflexión se articulará, en consecuencia, en torno a las inversiones que se manifiestan en los relatos —inversiones del concepto de familia, de los roles y prácticas sexuales, de la actitud frente al sida— y en suconstrucción como objeto lingüístico a partir de las teorías queer y de los estudios trans. El análisis del lenguaje empleado —crudo y violento— y de las imágenes proyectadas —ligadas a lo abyecto y repugnante— tendrá como objetivo mostrar el particular modo en que Menstrualconstruye el margen desde y sobre el cual escribe. This work offers a journey through the singular narrative universe of Naty Menstrual, the first self-defined transvestite writer published in Argentina. In her first book of short stories, Continuadísimo (2008), the author presents a world that changes traditional —social, cultural,and sexual— rules and values. In consequence, this article will reflect on the inversions that are manifested in the stories —inversions of the concept of family, of roles and sexual practices, of the attitude toward AIDS— and in her own construction as a linguistic object in the light ofqueer theories and trans studies. The language employed —crude and violent— and the images portrayed —which are linked to abjection and repugnance— will be analyzed to show the particular way in which Menstrual constructs the margin that positions her writing and gives shape to her stories.
