Descripción :	The objective of this paper is to identify the main hermeneutical criteria applied by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in matters of the right to health. The methodology used consisted of the normative analysis of the jurisprudence of said judicial body, of the American Convention on Human Rights and of the doctrine related to the subject under study, using the analytical theoretical method. It is concluded that the right to health, in the conventional sphere, has been recognized by the Inter-American Court as autonomous, progressive, susceptible to direct, indivisible and interdependent justiciability. El objetivo del presente artículo es identificar los principales criterios hermenéuticos aplicados por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en materia de derecho a la salud. La metodología empleada consistió en el análisis normativo de la jurisprudencia de dicho órgano judicial, de la Convención Americana de Derechos Humanos y de la doctrina vinculada al tema objeto de estudio, utilizando el método teórico analítico. Se concluye que el derecho a la salud, en el ámbito convencional, ha sido reconocido por la Corte IDH como autónomo, progresivo, susceptible de justiciabilidad directa, indivisible e interdependiente.
